How to prevent future hunger of 2050

Over the years we grow and understand that waiting for life to work out is like waiting for a bus that has been canceled, in other words useless. The facts tell us - we must act today for our future and the future of our children. Otherwise, our children will struggle to fight for their existence as happens generation after generation though with all the knowledge nowadays we understand more than any other generation our consequences whether it is for global warming, rainforest destruction and today also global famine danger.
According to the United Nations, we may face global hunger very soon if we not going to act to reduce and eradicate it as early as yesterday.

“According to estimates compiled by the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), by 2050 we will need to produce 60 percent more food to feed a world population of 9.3 billion. Doing that with a farming-as-usual approach would take too heavy a toll on our natural resources. Thus, we have no choice but to embark on a greener revolution. We can sustainably increase crop production by using a range of techniques that are more in tune with ecosystems by minimizing the use of external inputs and by helping farmers cope with the weather extremes that increasingly accompany climate change, thereby enhancing their resilience and reducing greenhouse gas emissions. This is a kind of farming that is useful and accessible to small-scale farmers by being adapted to the conditions they face with emphasis on local crop varieties, and harnessing traditional knowledge to sustain, rather than fight, natural ecosystem processes.”

According to Jose Graziano's article, modern technology can increase world food exports by 60%. Jose says that growth in modern technology inside a greenhouse will take place instead of fighting the natural process of the ecosystem in them, which will ensure quality and fertile produce that will satisfy the high demand that will befall us by 2050.
The use of such technologies has existed for years, Israeli technology, for example, has been used all over the world for about 60 years, with new solutions being developed every year for known problems in the agricultural market in various countries around the world.

We at Agrosheriff have been working for 22 years to present technological solutions to modern farmers, with greenhouse being only a tiny part of the main technology - irrigation systems, shading systems, ventilation, climate control, insect control, and much more.

Today, we see 2 solutions to the problem of global hunger that may befall us soon - a business or group solution and a personal family solution.

Business/group solution

This solution speaks of a complex project of industrial greenhouses, where all modern growing technology is included inside - systems necessary for quality and massive growth of food when 1sqm within this technological incubator - equivalent to 60sqm in the local field.

Theoretically, if we use all the agricultural fields at our disposal, we will double the export by about 60 times! This of course will ensure food not only until 2050 when we will have almost 10 billion people but also twice that in the further future.
This solution is especially suitable for the businessmen between us - capitalists (people who want to help others and make a fortune) by exporting a sufficient amount of food that will solve the hunger problem and fill the pockets.
As well as groups of people - families or farmers (who own only part of the required amount) One big one when each of the investors gets a certain percentage of the profits / from the crop or several greenhouses from which he can grow and supply the local market with fresh, ecologically clean food in quantities that do not embarrass a parallel food import company.

Personal - family solution

This solution is much cheaper and not less effective for individuals or families who are not looking to get rich from the food industry but also want to get fresh food within reach at any given moment. This is a GOLDA®  Mini facility, a unique growing system on the market – our development, which provides a healthy, quick, and convenient solution for every desired.
With the help of this facility, we can create a situation where each family can grow their food right on their balcony, in the yard, or on the private roof, when they know how it was grown- without spraying chemicals, wax, or any other vegetable preservative.

Not to mention the huge financial savings and of course significant energy savings not only of the family but also in the amount of air pollution to transport these vegetables in the country or even worse in importing from foreign countries.
This solution gives an individual result to the problem of hunger that afflicts us but does not give a general one because there are families without a balcony, yard, or roof that can be used, so they cannot use this system properly, but there will always be demand for food from the neighborhood supermarket. But the facility gives us the possibility to eradicate the use of vegetables from the supermarket for families with superficial abilities to use this GOLDA® facility, and to maximize the agricultural areas that exist today.

In summary, we believe, a combination of these 2 solutions, the global hunger problem will be solved not only shortly for our children but at least till the next millennium. But for that, we all need to unite to solve our mutual problem - give a hand to our children - give our hand to the future.

Thank you for your kind attention in reading this article, I wish that I was able to inspire you for an act which guarantee real help not only individually but also for the whole of humanity.
Thank you all, Roman Kataev – BDM Agrosheriff ltd.
